Apendix 10 - Comic Book: On Eagles Wings

The Fraternal Order of Eagles distributed thousands of Ten Commandments prints through 1958 when it printed 250,000 copies of "On Eagle Wings," a 96-page book in comic format. This comic book is about a Catholic priest teaching a boy the Ten Commandments. The comic book was distributed to Boy Scouts. This endavor, along with the distribution of the prints to schools and courthouses and the donation of Ten Commandment monoliths cities and states to display on public property, is overwhelming evidence of the religious character of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and its "intent" to promote religion.

In fact, the Eagles cite on its website the distribution of Ten Commandments monoliths and fight to keep the Commandments in public places as one of its major accomplishments.
